Frequently asked questions.

Many clients experience immediate physical relief: tension melting, pain easing, restricted areas opening, breathing becoming fuller and easier. Others report shifts in energy, mental clarity, or emotional release. Some describe all of these at once—the physical, mental, and emotional are inseparable.
What's consistent is that people leave feeling more grounded, more at home in their bodies, and more able to hear their inner guidance. When your nervous system returns to balance, your body remembers what it already knows how to do.
The foundation of this work comes from Huna philosophy—Kala, there are no limits—and Ayurvedic wisdom that recognizes our bodies as inherently self-correcting. I create conditions for this remembering. The depth and nature of your restoration unfolds according to what your system is ready to release.
-
Clients often describe it as a true reset—a return to a state of wholeness, calm, freedom, and ease they'd forgotten was possible. Some tell me chronic pain dissolved, vision literally cleared, or they can suddenly hear birds again. Others say "I finally feel at home in my body" or "I remembered who I am beneath all the stress and holding."
The most common feedback: "I didn't know I could feel this calm" and "something profound shifted that I can't quite name, but I know it's real." Many report feeling lighter, more grounded, able to breathe fully—sometimes for the first time in years.
What surprises people most is discovering how ready their bodies were to release. Tissue softens, breath deepens, mind eases. There's often a moment when the body recognizes safe, skillful touch and remembers its innate capacity for healing. It's not about adding something new—it's about clearing what's in the way so you can return to your natural state of coherence.
-
Yes to all three. Energy work doesn't require physical touch or proximity—consciousness and life force move beyond the limitations of space and time.
Sessions can be given with hands on the body, hands hovering above, or at a distance (virtual sessions are just as powerful). You remain fully clothed throughout. If you're interested in energy work only, let me know your preference for hands-on or hands-off work when you book. Energy work also integrates beautifully with massage in combination sessions.
The method adapts to what feels most comfortable for you while honoring the same foundation: restoring your nervous system to its natural state of coherence.
-
Wear comfortable, looser-fitting clothes that allow you to relax completely. Full coverage is ideal—think soft pants and a comfortable top, or whatever feels most easeful for your body. You'll remain fully clothed throughout the session, so dress for comfort and ease of movement.

No. Massage therapy is a regulated healthcare profession in New Mexico, governed by the New Mexico Massage Therapy Practice Act and overseen by the New Mexico Board of Massage Therapy.
Licensed massage therapists complete state-approved education, pass rigorous examinations, maintain licensure through continuing education, and adhere to strict professional and ethical standards. As a Licensed Massage Therapist (#7993), I provide therapeutic, non-sexual touch only—this is both a legal requirement and a professional commitment.
Reiki is purely non-sexual energy work focused on nervous system regulation and restoring balance.
This is healing work, not sex work. Solicitations for sexual services will result in immediate termination of the session.
-
Solicitation for sexual services is illegal in New Mexico. If this occurs:
The session will be immediately terminated
You will be charged in full
The incident may be reported to law enforcement
-
Look for these professional standards:
Valid New Mexico massage therapy license number (mine is #7993)
Clear professional boundaries and appropriate draping
Focus on therapeutic outcomes aligned with your health goals and intentions
Membership in professional organizations (I'm a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and Respect Massage)
Transparent business practices and professional communication
Professional massage therapy is about healing, pain relief, stress reduction, and overall wellness—never anything else.
