My Commitment to Ethical Practice

Ethics is foundational to the practice of healing arts. It's where everything I do is built from.

As a licensed massage therapist in New Mexico, continuing education in ethics is mandatory. I consistently choose to go beyond the required training because I consider it essential to the quality and integrity of my work. Ethics is my favorite class.

There’s a difference between knowing ethics and implementing them. I work to close that gap every day.

As a member of Respect Massage, I hold myself to the highest standards of boundary-driven practice. This means:

• Respect for your comfort levels and boundaries

• Professional draping and appropriate therapeutic touch only

• Zero tolerance for inappropriate requests or behavior — from anyone, in either direction

I want you to feel completely safe here. Not because a policy requires it. But because safety is the condition in which everything else becomes possible.

My freedom as a practitioner — the depth of presence I bring, the intuition I work from, the range of what I'm able to offer — comes from this foundation, not in spite of it. The clearer the ethics, the freer the work.
